There are three primary organizations for pet hedgehog fanciers. All have a global agenda and membership:

International Hedgehog Association

The IHA traces its roots back to the founding of the hobby. It is the parent organization for the International Hedgehog Registry, it sanctions shows and helps to fund them, licenses judges and helps to oversee the development of our growing hobby

Hedgehog Breeders Alliance

A new organization that seeks to secure a place in the world for pet African Hedgehogs by promoting and improving breeding practices, creating happier healthier pets; aiding and supporting activities that benefit all hedgehogs

International Hedgehog Registry

Dedicated to preserving the quality of the species
